ABSTRACT
The article reports that the Mustang Independent School District in the western suburbs of Oklahoma City planned to build a new elementary school with an $11 million bond issue that went before voters last week, but the 55 percent margin of approval fell short of the 60 percent supermajority required under state law. The district is expected to seek another bond election in April.
