The article reports that the Maricopa County elections office is reviewing a complaint that employees of the Maricopa Community College District illegally used public resources to promote a $954.1 million bond measure that passed easily on November 2. A criminal investigation has been called after an article in the East Valley Tribune newspaper said executive and administrative employees used the district's e-mail system to solicit support for the bond measure. The findings were based on the newspaper's review of more than 1,000 e-mails.
