The article presents information on recent developments related to DACs and ADCs. For industrial as well as test and measurement applications, the nanoDAC digital-to-analog converters are pin-compatible from 12 to 16 bits in compact 2.9- by 2.8-mm SOT-23 packaging for a 45% space savings. The AD5060 and AD5660 offer 16-bit high-precision data conversion while integrating additional circuit components on-chip. For 3G cellular infrastructure, broadband wireless access, satellite communications, high-resolution imaging, medical equipment and test instrumentation, the 8-bit ISL5627, 10-bit ISL5727, 12-bit ISL5827, and 14-bit ISL5927 260-MHz dual high-speed DACs operate up to 260 Msamples/s. 3M Touch Systems is the premier touch screen partner for wireless and portable device manufacturers, 3M's line of resistive touch screens overcome such design challenges as tight space constraints, small size requirements, lightweight configurations, and extreme ruggedness and durability.
