Furniture West Midlands will be officially launched at the Furniture Show next month, aiming to give the industry a stronger voice while helping smaller firms develop. The furniture industry is the second largest industrial sector in the West Midlands with more than 2,000 companies employing over 23,000 staff. A working committee for the group has established training, design and marketing as key issues to be tackled.
