This article focuses on the announcement of the creation of Mexico Green Building Council at the Greenbuild Conference. The Council will open to memberships in April 2005, accompanied by a series of educational presentations and promotional activities in Mexico. The Council forms an alliance of building and construction industry leaders from both the public and private sectors. Its mission is to promote sustainable development through the realization and construction of a superior built environment.
