This article presents the author's comments on the scope of environmental construction. The author says that while attending his third Greenbuild conference and expo last month, he continued to watch the green building industry grow before his eyes. Turner Construction Co. released in September a survey on green building issues, and according to the results, 93 percent of executives working with green buildings expect their green workload to rise in the coming three years. Overall impressions of the current state of the green building industry are positive, however, work still needs to be done to educate others on the materials available and their ultimate value.
