Older Titles Still Ruling Paperback Nonfiction Category

This article reports on several publishers of the U.S. Titles that have been published months or even years ago are still dominating the December 12, 2004 New York Times paperback nonfiction list, with few new titles in top 10. Random House Inc. is the number 1 paperback nonfiction publisher, with 23 titles on the list for a combined 288 weeks. Simon & Schuster Inc. doesn't have any of its titles in the top 10 of the current Times list, but has placed 15 titles on the list for 92 weeks. Penguin Group USA Inc. has had 12 titles on the list for 52 weeks, with no current titles in the top ten and no recent number 1 hits.
