ABSTRACT
The article presents information on manufacturing activity in the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City during the month of November. According to the bank's monthly manufacturing survey, manufacturing activity is going on in a solid pace. In comparison to the same month a year ago, the production index increased to 44 in November from 41 in October. The shipments index grew to 47 from 42, while new orders gained to 44 from 42, and backlog of orders rose to 30 from 23.
