Symantec Press/Addison-Wesley Launch Computer Security Series

This article reports that software and information security company Symantec Corp. and Pearsonowned Addison-Wesley Professional have published the first book by Symantec Press, a joint venture between the companies. Terms of the publishing agreement were not disclosed, but Addison-Wesley plans to publish between six and eight books with Symantec in 2005. The first printing of the book "The Executive Guide to Information Security," is estimated at 10,000 copies. The next title to be published under the agreement is "The Art of Computer Virus Research."
