ABSTRACT
The article informs that a great lesson from successful companies has been that people-centric corporate cultures pay big dividends. The session was led by speaker Ann Rhoades, president of Scottsdale, Arizona-based People Ink., a consulting firm that works with companies to strengthen internal people culture, and moderated by Lynn Wallis, president and CEO of c-store operator Wallis Cos. Rhoades, a human resources executive with more than 25 years' experience in a variety of service-based industries and one of the founding executives of Jet Blue Airlines and spoke to what c-store operators can do to strengthen their employees.
