The article reports that Deloitte & Touche LLP has given its consent to Clark County, Nevada to use the county's 2003 financial statement in its bids for US$101 million of refunding bonds. Earlier, by the virtue of a provision of the agreement between Clark County and Deloitte, Deloitte & Touche denied the county's request to use the previously published audit in the bond documents on the grounds that it had to verify that the county's fundamentals had not shifted since the audit was completed before it could permit the financial statement to be used in the deal's offering documents.
