ABSTRACT
The article reports that Morgan Stanley DW Inc. has been fined US$100,000 and has been ordered to pay over US$200,000 in restitution for failing to disclose to purchasers of municipal bonds that the bonds could be called prior to their stated maturity dates. The National Association of Securities Dealers also fined the brokerage an additional US$25,000 for failing to respond in a timely way to requests for information.
