ABSTRACT
The article focuses on a furniture exhibition. Upholstery manufacturers got in on the act featuring armchairs with drinks holders and sofas with ottomans while smart looking recliners provided even more comfort for viewing. Leather took centre stage. Natuzzi SpA introduced three lifestyle gallery approaches. The sleigh bed, was in evidence, but there was no typecasting as it came in various new guises, with leather head and foot boards or a mixture of wrought iron or with woven cane. Celebrities mingled among the furniture to draw buyers to their designs or products they were endorsing.
