ABSTRACT
The article presents an interview of James Goodridge, who has designed and build the Sarf website to promote the wares of Darren Richardson, who runs a thriving retail furniture business in Battersea, south London. Goodridge explains that the website is based on a generic e-commerce solution, which allows a great deal of flexibility in the design layout, colours and fonts. According to him, it is essential to spend time planning what one requires from the website, technical requirements first, and then the user interface.
