ABSTRACT
This article presents information on merger of corporations in the U.S. investment banking industry. Shell Transport & Trading Co. has been acquired by Royal Dutch Petroleum Co. The acquirers advisers for the deal included Rothschild, ABN-AMRO Holding and Citigroup. Ormen Lange Gas Field was acquired by Challenger Beston Wine Trust. WMC Resources Ltd. has acquired Xstrata. WMC's advisers for the deal included UBS Investment Bank and Citigroup. Xstrata was advised on the deal by J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. and Gresham Partners.
