ABSTRACT
The author of this article features three different models of cellular phones. The first one, Samsung Co. Ltd.'s P100 GSM/GPRS handset, includes a camera module and is available in different parts of Europe. It employs the three-chip Agere baseband and RF Micro Devices power amplifier. The second phone is the Motorola T721. Fairchild Semiconductor Corp.'s FSA3157 single-pull double-throw switch is used to switch the audio, while the NC7SC19 is a two-to-one multiplexer that switches between two flash memory banks. Finally, the Motorola A768 is a Linux-based smart phones, which is particularly available in China.
