ABSTRACT
This article focuses on the introduction of the MultiMediaCard Association's (MMCA) MMCplus and MMCmobile product names and logos for memory cards built to the previously announced high-speed MMC standards, which feature the highest data transfer rates among all existing memory-card standards. The MMCA and its member companies intend to promote the new names and logos and create brand awareness in the mobile-phone and digital imaging markets.
