ABSTRACT
This article presents news briefs about celebrities as of November 29, 2004. German model Claudia Schiffer, 34, gave birth to a baby girl Nov. 11 in a London hospital. Actress Laurel Holloman, 36, the star of Showtime's The L Word, and her husband, production designer Paul Macherey, 36, had their first child, daughter Lola, Nov. 4 in Vancouver, B.C.. Liza Minnelli's former bodyguard and chauffeur, M'Hammed Soumayah, sued the singer for battery, assault and breach of contract Nov. 9 in Manhattan. Nancy Johnsen sued comedian Bill Maher, 48, for palimony Nov. 10 in L.A. Johnsen, a former model, said she gave up her 12-year job as a flight attendant when Maher, the host of HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher, promised to marry her and buy her a Beverly Hills mansion. On Nov. 12 in L.A., photographers Saul Lazo and Jose Gonzalez sued Cameron Diaz, 32, and Justin Timberlake, 23, for assault and battery.
