ABSTRACT
The article reports that HarperCollins Publishers Inc., with 33 titles on the list for a total of 260 weeks, lead the other publishing companies in the newspaper "New York Times" children's paperback/picture and chapter category. HarperCollins placed "Happy Halloween, Little Critter!" by Mercer Meyer and "Abarat" by Clive Barker on the children's paperback list. HarperCollins' two celebrity titles are still reigning on the children's picture book list, with actor Billy Crystal's "I Already Know I Love You" and "It's Hard To Be Five" by Jamie Lee Curtis having enjoyed the number one spot for two weeks and three weeks, respectively.
