The article presents information about the state of municipal bond market of the U.S. as of November 16, 2004. Traders said bonds were quoted around the same level as of November 12, 2004. The government bond market did not provide much support, as shorter maturities weakened and the yield curve flattened. Treasuries were range-bound throughout the session but had a slightly negative tone due to a regional manufacturing report that showed a pick-up in activity in New York in November 2004 and a continuous decline in oil prices.
