ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the new digital asset library module. On larger projects, finding and reusing computer graphics data and effects shots gets complex. Artists using the new digital asset library module for Avid's Alienbrain VFX asset management system can now easily search for and locate art, according to Evan Jacobs, manager of the 3D department at Digital Domain Inc. and also saves money by avoiding the cost of rebuilding lost 2D and 3D elements.
