The article focuses on the feast of satellite furniture shows that are offering their best foil to the 100% design exhibition. More than 83 events branded 100% Guaranteed, offered a broad selection of Furniture and furnishing designs in an equally varied range of sites. Showrooms, museums, warehouses, former movie studios and pubs scattered around London flung open their doors to showcase designers, special projects arid design collaborations. Although there were the usual assortment of impractical, but head-turning designs from intrepid young designers, there were some interesting collaborations as well, such as Ercol Furniture's re-issue of the 1956 Butterfly chair at Margaret Howell's showroom and new developments such as Liberty's new look furniture department.
