ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the contemporary furniture fair that used the occasion to take stock of its development and the impact it has had in raising the profile of Great Britain as a design hub. The event has certainly helped excite interest in British designers, and the list of satellite events that grows longer each year is proof positive that there is a strong audience for 100% Design. In the show, ten designers with a long history with the exhibition were asked to proffer a name of designer who they predicted would increase in importance in the next 10 years. The creations of these future world-turners was showcased.
