ABSTRACT
The article presents a list of news, related to the U.S. financial market. New orders for durable goods, excluding semiconductors, increased 0.29% in September, the Commerce department reported yesterday. The sales of new single-family homes in the U.S. rose last month. climbing 3.5% to a 1.206 million seasonally adjusted annual rate, the third highest level on record trailing only March and May of this year, according to data released by the Commerce Department yesterday. The Treasury yesterday auctioned $24 billion of two-year notes with a 2 1/2% coupon at a 2.590% yield, a price of 99.826.
