Helping engineers get what they want

Ivanovich, Michael G.
November 2004
Heating/Piping/Air Conditioning Engineering;Nov2004, Vol. 76 Issue 11, p7
Presents several articles which appeared in the War Story column dealing with the importance of specifications of engineering products and systems, published in the previous issues of the "Heating/Piping/Air Conditioning" magazine. "About Those Brassieres...," which deals with brassieres that were ruined due to a heating, ventilation and air-conditioning unit that iced up during a shutdown; "Sensible Sensors," that discussed a situation in which a contractor provided the wrong analog-to-digital converters for resistance temperature detectors; "Dangerous Fan Tip, which recalled the explosion of an industrial fan.
