ABSTRACT
This article discusses the message delivered by Mukesh Dhirubhai Ambani, chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries Ltd., during the 1st UICT Foundation Day held on August 4, 2004 in India. Ambani asserts how UICT will soon find its true place as a premier institution in the world. He also discusses the advantages of the chemical technology and how it will shift from processes and products. He further relates the UICT's commitment of bringing out a renaissance not only in education but in terms of relationship with new converged industry.
