ABSTRACT
The article presents U.S. Federal Governor Susan Schmidt's views on the U.S. economy. She says the U.S. economy will see sustained solid growth as the Federal Reserve Board removes its policy accommodation at a measured pace. She said that Improving business conditions will help spur economic growth. She also said that the improvements that businesses have made to their financial strength and profitability have been substantial, and should help to support sustained, solid growth of the U.S. economy.
