The article reports on Mohawk Home's showcase of its product categories in home furnishings at the New York Home Textiles Market. The show placed Mohawk into trend-driven lifestyle vignettes, all founded on a sophisticated palette and new textured constructions, with some priced a little higher. The prices are compressed to $13 to $15 range for commodity goods, with a $20 price generating the volume. Weight and acrylic yarns have added to their success. The new decorative pillow offerings have standalone looks with solid colors and subtle handiwork. Mohawk Home's new design approach was also evident in its Stainmaster Majestic solid color bath rug program, which employs Invista nylon.
