Sarita Handa Exports, a family-run New Delhi-based manufacturer of private label bedding has partnered with modern upscale quilt designer Denyse Schmidt to produce a mainstream line of eight patterns to target specialty stores. The partnership brings together contemporary design with Indian craftsmanship for quality quilts. Queen-size quilts will retail for $199 to $350. Shams will retail for $50. Both the designers are interested in vintage fabrics.
