ABSTRACT
The article discusses two actions taken by the 101st U.S. Congress that Financial Executives Institute looks favorably upon. The Senate rejected language that would have mandated auditor reports on internal controls, and the House of Representatives approved a bill to reform U.S. financial management practices.
