This article presents news briefs related to retail store business. 7-Eleven Inc. signed a five-year, $55 million contract with Hewlett-Packard Co. to install and maintain customized servers, computers and printers for 5,300 U.S. stores. The company expects the new system to allow for computer-based training in each store and let headquarters track sales at each location. Alimentation Couche-Tard, which owns Circle K, Mac's and Dairy Mart Convenience Stores Inc., has entered into a development agreement to open 66 new Dunkin' Donuts stores in the next six years as a franchisee.
