The article presents information on the annual conference awards presented to various persons. Canadian Library Association's (CLA) past president Wendy Newman was presented with a silver tray as winner of the 2004 Outstanding Service to Librarianship Award. CEO Steve Salmons accepted the 2004 CLA, Information Today Award on behalf of the Windsor Public Library. Illustrator Bill Slavin was named the 2004 Amelia Frances Howard-Gibbon Illustrators Award winner for the illustrations he created for the book Stanley's Party. The 2004 Book of the Year for Children Award was given to Brian Doyle for his novel Boy O'Boy.
