ABSTRACT
This article presents a brief description on recent books related to international relations. "The Principles of Power," by Guglielmo Ferrero is a posthumous work of the great Italian historian rests on the thesis that those governments are legitimate which express the will of the people. In "History and Its Neighbours," by Edward Maslin Hulme an American historian surveys the techniques and objectives of his art, and its relations with collateral academic disciplines. "World Organization: A Balance Sheet of the First Great Experiment," is a score of experts, American and foreign, survey the record of the League, especially in its more technical services. "Today We Are Brothers," by Leo Lania autobiography of a European journalist in which many of the ideas, prejudices and mistakes of his generation are revealed, casually and entertainingly. "Geopolitik: Doctrine of National Self-Sufficiency and Empire," by Johannes Mattern, is a little book that should recommend itself to all those who want to know about the origins and development of the doctrines of geopolitics--German and non-German.
