ABSTRACT
The article presents some useful suggestions about homemade costumes and recommended readings for children to celebrate Halloween day. For the costume of "Fireman to the Rescue," use the dark pants and coats as the basic costume. To add reflector decorations, alternate strips of glow-in-the-dark tape and metallic tape around each sleeve and pant cuff. Do the same around the coat bottom. Put on boots and fireman's hat. For the costume of "Silly Spider," cut the tops of each pair of tights. Knot one end of each leg ans stuff with batting. Sew the open end to the T-shirt. Tie the black elastic cord to the bottom leg and wrap it around the middle leg, making sure to leave some space between the two. Tie a loop for your child's wrist at the top to create a "third leg."
