Reports that Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee is supporting the idea of leveraging future federal funds to pay for a new transportation program, but he stopped short of endorsing a recommendation to issue bonds to finance it. Amount in bonds needed to be issued to finance the transportation initiative; Huckabee's support for a tax hike on diesel fuel to create a state matching fund for federal dollars.
