ABSTRACT
In this letter, the PeierlsNabarro (PN) model is extended to describe dislocation mobility in piezoelectric materials. The Peierls stress of a screw dislocation in a piezoelectric material is calculated based on the generalized PN model and linear piezoelectricity theory.
