This article focuses on women achievers. Stephanie Abrams, meteorologist been clamoring for work covering severe weather when hurricanes Bonnie, Charley, Frances and Ivan supplied the necessary conditions. The parade of storms has kept her away from home for all but four days. Abrams has degrees in meteorology and geography from Florida State University. Richard Dean Anderson, executive producer and above-the-title star of Science Fiction Channel's long-running hit Stargale SG-1 received an award.
