ABSTRACT
The article presents several news related to journalism education. The article states that journalism graduates are getting more job opportunities in the newspaper industry than other job sectors. It throws information on the American Newspaper Publishers Association's announcement of recipients of Scholarships for Minority Journalism Students who have been awarded the renewal of their grants for the 1977-78 academic year. The total amount awarded is $7,350. It also presents information on new contributions totaling to more than $173,000 to advance journalism education and professionalism, that have been announced by Frank E: Gannett Newspaper Foundation Inc.
