ABSTRACT
This article presents information on the book "Winston Churchill," by Robert Lewis Taylor. As an informal biographer Taylor is, as always, witty, facile and entertaining. Taylor has a peculiar phobia about Churchill and war. He keeps bringing up the fact that Churchill has been happiest with some war or other in progress and just as often denies that Winnie is a war-monger. However, if Taylor's political polemics arc not very impressive his anecdotes most certainly are. And that, after all, is why people read Robert Lewis Taylor's books in the first place.
