ABSTRACT
This article presents information on the book "The Problem of Power: The Reith Lectures," by Lord Radcliffe. The Reith Lectures are presented annually by the British Broadcasting Company, which means that the lecturer must eschew professional jargon, but the BBC, although a radio system, has no objection to close reasoning expressed in plain language. The seven Radcliffe lectures will send no high school student to the dictionary, but they may strain his power to concentrate, for they are not light reading. The conspicuous fault of the book is his lordship's apparent ignorance of American experience with political power.
