ABSTRACT
This article focuses on relations between the U.S. and Great Britain. Last week the newspaper "London News Chronicle" published a Gallup Poll showing that 40 percent of the British people disapprove of the American role in world affairs, while only 37 percent approve. Great Britain and America had to face the Communists at Geneva, Switzerland in negotiation of the one great complex of problems on which they have never seen eye to eye: the Far East. To Britain, the new look in American defense policy lost all meaning last August when Russia exploded her first hydrogen bomb.
