ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the book "The Mask of Innocence," by François Mauriac. Poet William Wordsworth had said something about our coming from God Who is our Home. This book again poses the question of goes where and why, and gets involved with a man befouled with a life imbued with an exaggerated immorality who is left dying in a somewhat ambiguous state of grace, and with a priest who does not dare to face even the thought of the pleasures of the world.
