ABSTRACT
The article reports about the new agreements signed between Spain and the U.S. The agreement ended the political isolation of Spain and now became an ally in excellent standing of the leader of the free world. It is described as "the most important achievement of contemporary foreign policy." "Pueblo," which speaks for the so-called labor unions run by Jose Solis, wrote: "Spain and the United States are nations naturally destined to co-operate." "The Catholic organ,"Ya," wrote: "Spain which fought Communism alone in 1936 will now have the support of the most powerful nation in the world to strike again at its enemy."
