ABSTRACT
This article presents information on the book "The Journals of Lewis and Clark," by Bernard DeVoto. It is informed that the above mentioned book presents in an exceedingly usable and informative edition one of the great American classics. To those who love the wide expanses of the plains and mountains, and the adventure which they offer, the Journals of Lewis and Clark will always head the list of American literature. They also contain rich deposits of scientific data pertaining to flora and fauna and observations on Indian folk-ways and primitive psychology, not yet fully appreciated nor explored.
