ABSTRACT
This article discusses the political developments in the U.S. Just about one month hence a beaming General Dwight David Eisenhower is going to step off a big army airplane in Washington, clad in uniform, and proceed first to the Pentagon and then to the White House in the process of giving up his job. Every reporter, every photographer, every television camera will focus upon him and his attractive grin. His backers now plan to let him make two or three formal appearances at which he will "outline his philosophy" but not spell out his views in specific detail.
