ABSTRACT
This article evaluates the book "Sexual Behavior in the Human Female," by Alfred C. Kinsey, Wardell B. Pomeroy, Clyde E. Martin and Paul H. Gebhard. The book analyzes the sex life of the female human beings. It is based on interviews with 8,000 women, of which fewer than 6,000 were really complete. Half the married women in this sample had had intercourse before marriage, but half of these, again, had had relations only with the man they subsequently married. Adultery is twice as frequent among married men as among but four percent more common among women born after 1900.
