ABSTRACT
This article focuses on the international relations in European countries. British prime minister Sir Winston Churchill is back at the centerstage negotiating with the Soviet Union. For the Western Europeans at this juncture of their history the most important value is life itself. And at a time when their past glorious living space shrinks humanly from the implications of being fringed by the emplacements for launching atomic and hydrogen weapons, only peace can assure life. Sweden is a neutral country, one of the few in Europe unlikely to have such emplacements.
