ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the political scenario in the U.S. Democrats are expected to score a victory in the forthcoming elections. While, Republicans are less popular now, than they were a few years ago. The new tax bill is loaded on the side of corporations and stockholders. The biggest policy change made by the new administration involves power. Ever since former U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt, the government has been the watchdog of public interest against the power lobby. The Anglo-American policies still diverge.
