The rating agency said the potential for negative rating action exists for Los Angeles Arena Funding debt that financed the Staples Center arena, where the Los Angeles Kings franchise plays. Fitch said the impact of a work stoppage on bonds secured by general municipal sales taxes would be minimal, since the taxes would cover debt service whether teams play or not.
