ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the content of two biographies of U.S. Vice President Richard Nixon. One is "Nixon," by Ralph de Toledano and the other is "This Is Nixon," by James Keogh. It presents the views of both authors about Vice President who claim that he has been misunderstood and far from being an opportunist he is a principled conservative. The article asserts that these books lack sincerity and they do not try to conduct a reasonable discourse but one thing is clear about the Vice President that he represents something new in American life.
